The last few days set another great example for the fact that the concept of “Rock’n Roll” applies to all musical styles.
About one week ago I was asked if I wanted to play bass for Thomas Anders (the “Brother Louie”, “Geronimo’s Cadillac” and so on) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. That sounded like fun and so I was game! When do you get to Kazakhstan after all, right? The only catch were the twelve hours travel per way for the one-hour gig – but then again that was the rock’n roll part now.
In conlusion: Thomas: cool. The band: cool. Everything: cool. And Aeroflot will deliver my luggage directly to my home today so that I won’t even have to carry it myself!
